The beautifully ridged shape of Penne can be served in a variety of ways: with meat- and vegetable-based sauces to olive oil- and dairy-based sauces, or bake it in your favorite pasta casserole.

Ingredients
Ingredients: Whole Grain Durum Wheat Flour.

Directions
1. Bring 4-6 quarts of water to a boil. Add salt to taste, if desired. Add pasta to boiling water. Stir gently.
2. For authentic “al dente” pasta, boil uncovered for 9 minutes, stirring occasionally. For more tender pasta, boil an additional minute.
3. Remove from heat. Drain well and serve immediately with your favorite Barilla sauce.
