Cook thoroughly – See cooking instructions. Stovetop Cooking Instructions: 1. Place onions in saucepan. Add 3/4 cup water. (1/4 cup for half package). Bring water to a full boil over high heat. 2. Reduce heat to medium-high and cover. Cook for 6-7 minutes (4-5 minutes for half package), stirring occasionally. 3. Drain. Microwave Cooking Instructions: 1. Place onions in microwave safe dish. 2. Cover and microwave on high for 7 1/2 minutes (Per 1200 watt microwave) (4 minutes (Per 1200 watt microwave) for half package); stir halfway through cooking. 3. Let stand for 1 to 2 minutes after cooking (Stand time is important for food safety). 4. Drain. (Cook time based on 1200 watt microwave: cook time may need to be adjusted for your microwave.) For microwave ovens less than 800 watts, please use stovetop cooking instructions. For food safety & quality follow these instructions carefully: Keep frozen – do not thaw. Cook thoroughly to a temperature of 165 degrees F as measured by a food. Thermometer taken in several spots. Promptly refrigerate any leftovers. Reheat before serving. Caution! Product will be hot!
