Degerminated Yellow Cornmeal (100%)

Directions
Instructions for Arepas: 1. Pour one cup of Donarepa in a bowl. 2. Slowly add one cup of water or milk while stirring, then add salt and one spoon of margarine or butter if desired to make a soft dough. 3. Let it stand for 3 minutes, to obtain softer Arepas. 4. Add 3 tablespoons of water if needed and knead. Add cheese at your preference. 5. Shape the Arepas. 6. Then cook on a lightly greased griddle until crusty on both sides or fry then in hot oil.

Ideal for empanadas, arepas, tortillas, tamales, humitas.

Storage Instructions: Store at room temperature in a dry clean cool area.
