Follow our comprehensive step-by-step instructions on how to use a non-applicator tampon on the enclosed insert in your box of tampons. You shouldn’t feel anything when the tampon is correctly in place. If you feel any discomfort, the tampon may not be far enough inside. Absorbency needs can change throughout your cycle, and it’s okay to try different absorbencies. Select the minimum absorbency needed to control your menstrual flow in order to reduce the risk of getting TSS. Remember to change your tampon every 4 to 8 hours.
