Pre-cooked Yellow Corn Meal Enriched (niacin, Iron, Thiamin, Riboflavin And Folic Acid)
Directions
How to Prepare the Dough: Water: 2-1/2 cups. Salt: 1 teaspoon. Pan: 2 cups. Mix the ingredients, knead for 2 min. 5 min. Let it rest. How to Prepare the Arepa: Divide the dough into 10 equal portions. Form small balls and flatten with your hands into a thin disc, about 10 cm (3-1/2 in.) in diameter. Cook in a griddle or frying pan over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side. Slice open lengthwise, to create a pocket and add your filling of choice.
Store in a clean, dry and cool place.
