Details
Ghee (clarified butter) is created by a clarification process in which water and milk solids are removed, leaving behind a spreadable and rich butter. It can be used the same way as traditional butter for cooking, baking, sauteing, and panfrying (not recommended for deep-frying). High smoke point of 450 degrees F (traditional butter is 350 degrees F).
