For your protection follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw meat. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.
How to Cook The Very Best Smashburger: 1. Keep Smashburgers refrigerated until ready to cook. Heat a flat top griddle or cast iron skillet over high heat. 2. Place your Smashburger onto the hot surface and smash with a sturdy spatula. Season with kosher salt (optional). 3. Cook Smashburgers over high heat for 1-2 minutes per side or until it forms a deep brown crust and desired temperature is reached*. Flip only once during the cooking time. 4. Build your Smashburgers with your favorite toppings & enjoy. Optional: stack another Smashburger on top to make it a double! NOTE: If cooking Smashburgers on the stovetop, we recommend using a cast iron skillet and following the instructions above. * The USDA recommends cooking Smashburgers to a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees F (71.1 degrees C).
