Enjoy the flavor and soul of New Orleans with Jambalaya Rice Mix, made with long grain rice and real vegetables and spices. Just add 1 pound of smoked sausage, cooked chicken, ham, or shrimp for a one-pot, 30-minute meal your whole crew will love.
Creole jambalaya was born in New Orleans in the 18th century when Spanish settlers tried to recreate their beloved paella using Louisiana ingredients. Today it’s a local staple found at music festivals, Mardi Gras parties and quiet weeknight meals. And there’s a reason why you’ll find Zatarain’s Jambalaya Rice Mix in so many New Orleans pantries: it delivers classic jambalaya flavor and is easy to prepare – simply simmer Rice Mix and water with meat of your choice for a jazzed up one-pot dinner.
Zatarain’s Jambalaya Rice Mix is made with real ingredients that you can see and taste. We use parboiled long grain rice, vegetables like bell peppers, onion and garlic, and bold spices. And, it’s gluten free and contains no added MSG (except those naturally occurring glutamates). Zatarain’s can help you make Creole and Cajun inspired dishes quickly and easily, any night of the week. Look for more varieties of dinner rice mixes, including Red Beans & Rice, Dirty Rice, and Gumbo.
